Two-Color Crochet

Working with many knit patterns can seem intimidating. Nevertheless, it doesn’t have to be that way! Stitch expert Mary Beth Temple explores two-variety knitting techniques in this session that only use each variation in turn.

The two-variety technique is introduced to you by Mary Beth at the main meeting, and she goes over all of the possible applications for it. She encourages you to try incorporating these join designs in unique ways on your own sewn items, but she particularly likes to use them on sleeves, collars, and pockets.

Spike lines are the first two-variety knit technique demonstrated in this lesson. Spike fastens can be used to create interesting garments when used with a single knit basis.
