The openwork knitting model made with two needles is a very beautiful and elegant model. Below are the rules for making a basic kinitting pattern. In this model, we will create an openwork structure with straight and reverse loops.
Materials:
1-Knitting yarn (preferably fine or medium thickness)
2-Skewers in appropriate sizes
Steps:
1- Bottle and Thread Selection: To make an openwork knitting model, choose suitable sizes of needle and knitting yarn. The size of the knitting needles should be given with the specified dimensions indicated on the label of the preferred yarns.
2- Plain Plain Knit: Before working on the openwork knitting pattern, create a basic base by knitting a few rows of plain knitting. This will help make the borders of the model smoother and neater.
3-Creating the Openwork Pattern: Follow the order below to create the openwork pattern: Row: Knit 1 straight, knit 1 stitch, then knit the next stitch with a straight needle as skipping. Complete the row with plain knitting. Row: Knit all loops. Row: Without knitting 1 stitch, skip the next stitch with a straight needle, repeat by knitting 1 straight. Complete the row with plain knitting. Row: Knit all loops.
Create the openwork pattern by constantly repeating these 4 rows. You can continue this pattern until you reach the height you want.
4-Finishing the Openwork Pattern: Finish in the plain weave sequence where the openwork pattern is completed. Then add a few more rows of plain weave. This neatly complements the openwork pattern and makes the edges smoother.
Closing Knit: Close knitting in a plain weave pattern to close the last row of stitches.
These basic rules will help you make a basic openwork knitting pattern made with two needles. When knitting, taking care that the threads and needles are tight or compressed; So you can control the weave as you wish. Various knitting books and online resources are also available for more complex openwork knitting patterns.
